I am a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Sheffield.

My research and teaching interests are in Software Engineering, with my research in particular focusing on software testing and the application of metaheuristic search techniques. See a list of my publications.

Two of my papers were accepted for ICST 2013:

First year students from our Information Technology Management for Business (ITMB) degree programme won a national competition in Manchester on 28th November – which involved nearly 350 students from 11 universities.

The team – Liviu-Adrian Mihalcea, Polina Georgieva, Ivan Dimchev and Andrei-Cornel Sorbun – designed a poster and gave a presentation to CreditSuisse. They were awarded a trophy and a £500 prize.
